Looking forward to 2011-2012

I am excited to help the International Baccalaureate programme continue to grow at our school.  Our students will experience all 6 units by the end of this school year, up from 3 last year.  This means that our students will have more opportunities to share their learning.  A basic premise of the programme is to encourage students to take action as a result of their learning.  For example, last year, our third graders created the mosaic that hangs outside the main office.  Please click on the word action to learn more.  First, click on material .  Then you must click enable editing and enable content to view this PowerPoint.  I promise to get better at this as I learn.  

I intend to update this blog weekly so that all of you can follow the exciting things happening at OES.
